Is it possible to back up the Control Configuration Settings

It is possible to back up your NetSupport Manager Control configuration settings. This may be useful when you have several Controls where the same configuration is required, you simply want to back up the data in case of system failure or you wish to migrate your Control settings from one machine to a new installation of NetSupport Manager on another machine.

In NetSupport School 9.00 and above the location of where the Tutor Configuration is stored in the registry was changed. This change was made for Environments where Users would not have rights to write to the Local Machine, but would have rights to write to their logged on users Profile.

Prior to the release of NetSupport Manager version 10.30 if you connected an viewed a client that had previously been connected to using Remote Desktop this could cause NetSupport Manager to display a blank screen when trying to view the screen of a connected workstation.

The NetSupport DNA Helpdesk product uses the Crystal Reports engine to generate and display the reports within the Helpdesk. Within the Reports management section of the Helpdesk you have the ability to upload your own custom reports to the Helpdesk. These reports must be a Crystal Report file created with Crystal Reports version 9 or later.
